No witty titles today :3

Well I've been home since Wednesday night. Nothing special really except my roommates' boyfriend helped me get my upgrade of Windows 7 on my baby <3 It was free too!! Oh gosh it works so well, and its so damn PRETTY. Before I couldn't really do much with my desktop besides changing the background and colors of the task bar. Now I can change the intensity of the color and set multiple pictures to alternate in the background <3 I can "pin" the programs I use the most to the task bar so they're always there, rather than mixed with stuff I don't use. It even has this AWESOME feature where you can zoom in on web pages, which is wonderful, cause I always feel like I need to get closer when I'm looking at things XD The upgrade even fixed a little graphics problem I had while watching videos. The pixels didn't show up smoothly, rather in blocks, or sections, it made watching things hard for little blind me. It even upgraded my sound XD The only down side is my baby doesn't start up as quickly as he did before (he shuts down much nicer though), but everything runs so nicely when its on who cares if it doesn't start up quickly!? XD My computer is being a little tweaky, but I think thats just it getting settled and with the proper updates, but Windows 7 totally gets my approval without a doubt :3

Thanksgivings was so so. We ended up going to a thanksgiving dinner with my brother's employer and his family at their church. It was weird for me mainly because I knew nobody but my family, and its hard for me to put myself out there and talk with new people. I'm just too shy. The food was okay, but I wish my mom had been able to stay home and cook (she just didn't have the money for it this year).

The high light though was getting up for the start of Black Friday at 4:30 AM. We weren't really shopping for deals per say, or for Christmas. My brother and I wanted to get some PC games and we were hoping to find deals at Best Buy. We didn't find any for our games, but we had some Best Buy reward dollars XD We both ended up paying only $28 for our games (his was $40, mine was $50). It only took us 50 min to get in and out, not bad considering some people were on the other side of the store. I have little sympathy for them :3 All I cared about was the fact I can finally say I've at least been out during Black Friday XD (it probably won't happen again).

The game I bought was The Sims 3 :3 I've been watching my roommate, suite mates, and their boyfriends play it and talk about it all semester. I managed to get it from one of them, and I joined the sim wagon. Too bad nobody would let me play with their copy :/ So I caved and instead of coping out for a Naka Kon ticket, I decided to go buy Sims. It seems Naka Kon will be put on the back burner until I get more money next semester. So I've been doing that a good portion of the day.

Thats about it, only note is on the WIP in my gallery. I may have lost the photoshop file during the upgrade of my computer, and I'm too lazy to plug in my terra byte Cosmo to see if I remembered to transfer it :/ Not a big deal since it was a spur of the moment drawing anyway, just thought I would mention it.

Correction: Did lose the photoshop file :/ I still have the WIP snapshot though, so I'll see if I can't work with that.
